The Book Of Mormon: Another Testament Of Jesus Christ

     I know that The Book Of Mormon: another Testament Of Jesus Christ is true. It is an ancient record of people who lived in the Americas. It is the record of a family, their trials and their travels, and what happened to their descendants. It is evidence of the Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that Joseph Smith truly was a prophet of God.

     Greater peace will enter our lives as we come to know that The Book Of Mormon is true and we apply it's teachings into out lives, this will happen because The Book of Mormon is about Jesus Christ, it testifies of Christ, it gives us the opportunity to learn about Jesus Christ's visit to the inhabitants of the ancient Americas after His Resurrection. As the prophet Joseph Smith said, "I told the brethren that the Book of Mormon was the most correct of any book on earth, and the keystone of our religion, and a man would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts, than by any other book." I bear my testimony that this is true, I know this because the Holy Spirit of God has testified to me that it is true. I did as the prophet Moroni exhorts us to do at the end of The Book Of Mormon: Another Testament Of Jesus Christ in the Book of Moroni, Chapter 10, verses 3 through 7; 

"3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things, if it be wisdom in God that ye should read them, that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men, from the creation of Adam even down until the time that ye shall receive these things, and ponder it in your hearts.

 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.

 5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.

 6 And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.

 7 And ye may know that he is, by the power of the Holy Ghost; wherefore I would exhort you that ye deny not the power of God; for he worketh by power, according to the faith of the children of men, the same today and tomorrow, and forever."

     I remember that there was a time when I saw that life was about to get harder and I remember not wanting it to, and I remember receiving this thought to read the Book of Mormon. I decided to try it. As I read that night I was immediately in to it. I read for a little while but I had school the next day so I had to stop. I woke up the next morning and continued reading. It was all I did in my free time. The more I read the better I felt and I started feeling that what I was reading was true. Growing up I had always thought certain aspects of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, like the Plan of Salvation and how through Sacred Promises we make in our Heavenly Father's Temples that we can be with our families forever, even after this life, but I never had that spiritual witness that it was true. It took me two weeks or so to finish the book, but when I did, when I read the words "The End" I had the feeling to get on my knees and pray, so I did. That changed things. I received an answer to my prayer. I prayed and asked God our Heavenly Father if the Book of Mormon is true as His prophet Moroni directs us to do in the last chapter of "The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ". I received an answer from God, through my thoughts and feelings I was told that it is true, that Jesus Christ is my Savior, the Savior, Lord, and Redeemer of all mankind and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was His church once again on the earth today, and that it was restored on the earth through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know these things are true for God has told me that they are. You can have an experience similar to mine, God will tell you that The Book Of Mormon: Another Testament Of Jesus Christ is true if you will do as the prophet Moroni directs, read from The Book of Mormon, ponder about it, and pray with faith in Jesus Christ that you will receive an answer and with the real intent to act upon the answer you receive. I know that you will receive an answer that The Book Of Mormon: Another Testament Of Jesus Christ is true. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
